UOP is a great college. I wish they offered my Master's degree program on campus. Enrollment staff members are helpful. However, from my own experience the Academic Advisors need to communicate more with their students.
I feel as if this program costs too much!

Course work is geared to adult learners, flexible scheduling, and easy access. Transition to a new learning platform in the middle of the course was problematic at first. All in all, very satisfied with the journey to my degree. A few instructors could have been more involved with feedback and course interactions. One of my committee members was lax in responding to edits on the dissertation. My class had to be extended as a result, and almost didn't finish before the extension ran out.
I wish there was more of a choice when it comes to prerequisites and elective credits. However, the schedule of the classes has been great. The pacing has allowed me to succeed while maintaining my personal life (I have to children with special needs). This is the first time in my life that I’ve had straight A streak. It’s not even because all the classes are easy either. Finance almost wrecked my straight A streak. The schedule making it so I only have to concentrate on one class at a time just makes it doable. Finally feel like I’m at a school that actually wants me to succeed.
The professional customer services and the feeling of belongingness.
My past experience with UOP has been overall very good, however the last course I took OPS574 (Professor Peter Wilms) was not a good experience. There was a lack in instruction on tasks and projects and then grading was so critical with a huge lack in constructive critique.
If I do something incorrect I would expect that the professor explain in detail how they expected this done as to not repeat the same errors. Overall a lack of instruction and helpful guidance.
I love University Of Phoenix. Everyone from the advisers to professors and I’m between our extremely helpful and kind and knowledgeable. Everyone is so willing to help you better yourself and wants to see you succeed. 10/10
I only have 2 classes left before I can get master degree but I have to wait due to a university decision.
I have enjoyed the time management that I can utilize while working and getting my degree!
After graduating from LVN to BSN at the University of Phoenix in 2013, I never thought about going back to school. I have been an assistant nurse manager for few years, and I decided my nursing goal will be an RN manager. I started thinking about the Master's program. Once I knew that the Master's program would advance my nursing career, I knew right away I will be attending University of Phoenix. I’m so excited that I will be graduating soon from the University of Phoenix with an MBA in June 2021.
I love University of Phoenix! I could not of asked for a better faculty to be supporting my academic needs. From my instructors, the liberians, to my financial aid contacts they always have answers when I need them. It is so wonderful knowing I have such awesome people who have my back every step of the way in achieving my life long goal of becoming a college graduate. I am so thankful for this opportunity and it is so exciting to be on this journey.
I could not of asked for better people on my side. Thank you University of Phoenix I will make you proud!
Drop from class
Sunday morning, I went on my portal to do my last class assignment work, and that when I found that University of Phoenix and Instructor Angie Hodges had Drop me from class. This was my graduating year for my certificate diploma from this college, I went all the the way for a hold year using my GI Bill money to go this college and for you all to drop me and to tell me I am disqualified me for one class and I am suppose be graduating and sad part this school took My GI bill, I am very disappointed how this University can beat me as a veteran out my money. To turn around and drop a me out my course, when I getting ready to graduating that was very cold what this college did to me . This is a big slap in face, and the sad part this college show me you all don't care about hurting people this is very depression and all my money from GI bill was paying for my course, I need my money back, looking in to a lawsuit, this wasn't right all. Wasn't able to speak to no higher up and the advisor was very rule to me, to the point they kept on hanging up on me. This how this college do me when it time for me to graduate

University of Phoenix Questions & Answers

I have been a student at the University of Phoenix for a few years now and I have finally had enough, I will be transferring as soon as my current class is over. There are several issues with their assignments, such as the course content not matching the assignments, the assignment instructions missing crucial information causing double work, and the forced team/group assignments. The team/group assignments were the final straw for me. I am constantly teamed up with individuals who are intelligence challenged (I'm trying to be nice), who are unable to comprehend the course material even though they are in a 300 level class, and who cannot compose a complete sentence. As a result, my grade is negatively impacted due to the shortcomings of my teammates. The university has also mismanaged my Pell Grant and will not release the funds that I have earned until I call and ask what the heck is going on. I strongly advise against enrolling at the University of Phoenix, unless you are one of those people that I was speaking of, if so then you should fit right in.
